Scrubs League post-draft talk

OK, so the draft didn't work out this time. Things that went wrong:

Some people's exclude list didn't work.
Roscoe's team didn't set the exclude list.
Some people had different exclude rankings.

Options as I see it are limited. We can do another Live Draft, however it is going to be late notice for everyone to do another this weekend probably, which means the league will not start until Week 4. By this time, a lot of NBA teams will be getting set in their rosters and takes away some of the fun of predicting who's going to play, etc...

I just don't see any other alternative. I can create another league and schedule another draft and will clarify the exclude list again for next week. But that's not to say that the same thing might happen again. The only way to be 100% sure of the draft working is for eveyone to be at the live draft.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Re: Scrubs League post-draft talk

I say the commisioner scans everyone's team and identify which players were supposed to be on the excluded list and each GM should drop those players. Other than Microwave, no one should have more than 1 or 2.

For Micro's team, he has to drop all of his players and we can all give him one of our leased desired players just as if he was a new team to the league and we can select another from the FA list

I would rather do that than go thru the draft again as we may have the same issue if everyone does not have time to participate at a live draft.

Re: Scrubs League post-draft talk

Could we hold an informal draft on PF and somehow input the selections to yahoo for a league start in maybe a couple weeks?

LA Dre
Shaquille O'Neal

Ralphie
Marvin Williams

Roscoe
Kevin Garnett
Kobe Bryant

That kind of sucks. Roscoe was probably all excited thinking he was going to win a league, finally.

You guys should just leave things the way they are. Roscoe will end up trading away all of his stud players anyhow.

Re: Scrubs League post-draft talk

For the sake of expediency, I would be happy to drop and pick from the FA list, provided no one else makes any changes to their teams until I am done.

I can have this complete this evening.

Re: Scrubs League post-draft talk

I can't drop my players. I think the commish will have to.

If this is not possible, I will withdraw from the league and rejoin.

In the Yahoo rankings, for both the beginning of the season and current rankings ly, both Curry and Shaq are out side the top 140 > Curry was 369 and 175 and O'neal was 436 and 183.
