Now why are the Pistons reverting back to nail-biters so soon after they were riding the wave of being a team that was putting away the bottom-feeder teams. If Tay is not at full-strength maybe he shouldn't be playing so many minutes? I know he's been in 300 consecutive games but when you start becoming a liability then time to take yourself out. Count me surprised that Nazr got a few minutes of playing time and he scored some points and looked active. No Maxiell and I sure hope that's not a sign he's been traded. I'm almost of the mindset that Dale Davis might be going in a trade somewhere and I can't wait to see what player (or players) Joe has swooped in and picked up. I'll take any back-up PG at this point and boy when Charlie Bell ever becomes a free agent the Pistons should grab him in a New York minute. He's such a hard working, blue collar player that would fit in well with his hometown team.

I agree with your first sentence Lee. For some reason, Flip thinks he owes it to the starters to bring them back in even when the bench is holding it's own. That is why we always seem to give up unecessary points to close out the second qtr. (from our uninspired starters) The guy still hasn't figured out the rotation thing yet......and the Piston wins are due to the our good players deciding that they want to put through a winning effort on a given night despite clueless Flip

Nice recaps everyone!

Happy for the win, unhappy with how we played. With the exception of a couple players, this team needs to greatly raise it's intensity level.

Re: At Milwaukee February 20th, 8:00PM

If any chatters last night were wondering why I vanished in the third quarter and never returned, I was having some weird laptop issues, but it looked like it was OK again this morning.

The starters played well in the first quarter, so I don't know what happened in the second and third periods with those guys. They were mailing it in and not executing at all on offense. Thankfully, they went back to Sheed in the low post in crunch time, and the refs swallowed their whistles on the last putback attempt by CBell.

Nazr actually played OK in his brief 2nd quarter appearance. We were all theorizing in chat that he's being displayed as trade bait, though we'll know that for sure by the deadline tomorrow. Delfino got some steals and made some nice hustle plays on both ends, but man is he out of sync on his outside shot. His misses last night were painfully far off.

...More proof he has Piston DNA.
