I'm really curious. Almost everyone on here loves the Pistons, but are we divided evenly across the MSU and U of M lines? Who likes which school (if either).

Big UofM fan here. If Michigan keeps playing like they are at the moment (down 14-3 at halftime) you may just get your wish.

BTW - Didn't State lose to those bums last year? I see a little deja-vu in your very near future. Oh, and a huge comeback for MI.

Is this going to be an MSU vs. UM kind of place? Well, UM is getting its tail kicked by Notre Dame. As usual, the preseason prognosticaters have seriously overestimated Michigan. I root casually for both UM and MSU as I'm not an alum of either school. Used to be a big UM fan, but I can't stand Lloyd Carr. I expect MSU to beat UM in Ann Arbor this season. Herrmann's defense couldn't sack a quarterback even if the opposing team's offensive line laid down instantaneously and led UM's defense by hand into the backfield.

They are letting their answering machines pick up though. They know not to answer. State is a sorry excuse for a college town. I really hope they don't do well this year, or there'll be riots. Or is that if they do poorly? I don't remember.

lol. Yeah they riot regardless. It's like work. Every year you can count on MSU folks being investigated for destroying something and U of M folks being investigated for recruiting violations or perjury.

Hey man, you're preaching to the choir. It's going to be a tough year for UofM. Their defense is terrible, as ggazoo mentioned, and will most likely be the reason why they don't go anywhere this season.

The MSU campus is beautiful and is a TRUE campus as compared to UM. East Lansing is a nice town. Don't let a few nutjobs and the Detroit media bias toward UM skew your perspective.

btw... U of M has a basketball team???????? I didn't see them in the NCAA tournament last year. Were they in the NIT or something?
