JammerTime!

Just returned home from being treated with a sore back. When I heard the news of Joey being traded this morning I tried doing a backflip and lets just say " I ain't as young as I use to be" God Bless Miami. Lets all send Nick Saben a fruit basket!

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Joey's gone, I just wish we had more to show for our #3 overall pick than a conditional 6th rounder and 4 losing seasons.

I still think Joey could have been a serviceable QB for the Lions under Martz, but once he decided he wanted out, I wanted him to be gone as soon as possible to avoid being even more of a distraction and so that we could hopefully get an additional mid round pick for him in this year's draft. Well so much for that. But atleast its over.... until we play Miami next year.

Yep, that sums up my thoughts as well... he could be a solid QB with a decent O-line and surrounding talent.... Joey got Scott Mitchellitis with the flood in his backfield... and tough fans... same thing happened to Batch...
At some point you have to look beyond the QB.... he was a hellofa good college gunner... there are others responsible besides just Joey.

Re: Joey Traded :: Let the Healing Begin

Good riddance.

I think he will stink with Miami. I don't see what will get him to stop focusing on one receiver and giving away the play. I also don't see why his teammates will suddenly respect him.

We'll see. Either way, it was time to move on.

Prediction:
Kitna gets booed off the field and is replaced... same thing happens to the next guy etc...
History shows.
