Yeah, but you had fun right?

I bet if you could do over, you would fare much better. Your first fantasy season is usually a wash unless you get fanatical about following it. I was really pleased to place middle of the pack in a baseball league after not following the game for the last 5 years.

Realistic expectations!

I drafted worst than Millen.
Starting out with all those Qbs really put you behind the 8 ball. You did well with your pick ups after that. Now that you have a feel for it (and are familiar with the rules and roster settings), I'm sure you'll do much better than Millen next season.

I had blast. I really enjoy fantasy sports and the guys make it even better. I've never had an issue. Thanks #1.

Re: #1Pistonfan's Fantasy Football League

Looking at his team, you can see he won with all luck.
Why would you draft Gore and keep Vick and two Card recievers?

Luck? Is that what I get for trying to put a positive spin on your last place finish?

Actually, I didn't draft Gore, I picked him up as a free agent before the very first preseason game. Good thing I did, since he ended up with the 6th highest point total of all RBs. But I guess that was luck. I picked up Marion Barber III for depth around mid season, and he finished with the 11th highest point total. McGahee was a bit of a disappoinment for me, although he missed 2.5 games to injury and still finished at 25. LT was the 3rd overall pick. He had a monster season.

Vick finished with the 5th highest points for a QB, again, I got lucky. I also had Trent Green, but I lost him in the first game of the season.

I had 4 WRs in the top 25. Driver at 5, Furrey at 17 (picked up Oct 1), and the "two Card receivers" finished 20 (Boldin) and 24 (Fitzgerald - who by the way, missed 3 games).

Of my 2 TEs Cooley finished 7th and Watson 11th.

Graham was the 5th best kicker.

I had the 4th (New England) and 10th (Jacksonville) best D's.

Overall, I had the 2nd most points in the league, only 20.82 behind Himat. But unlike Himat and the Pistons of last year, I peaked at the right time. I rode a season high 5 game winning streak all the way to Disneyland baby!

Heck, if that's luck, I'll take it!

I thought I had it won when I saw that Tomlinson had no touchdowns. Good win Jammer.

Thanks himat. It was a bit of a low scoring matchup for both sides.

You had a heck of a year. You were looking unbeatable for a good portion of the season.

I'd take you over Millen anyday.

Re: #1Pistonfan's Fantasy Football League

If I remember right my puter was on the fritz back then, I couldn't pick up any hot players. I drafted Ron Dayne...he didn't score until the last 3 games of the season. I also drafted TJ Duckett he was good for a 3.25 rating.
