Anyhow, Jammer sent everyone pms last month telling us to go easy on you because you were a senior citizen. Well, he actually said "Lambs is an old fart, so he'll probably cry when you kick his butt." I really don't want to add fuel to this fire, but I haven't been sleeping nights knowing that he is calling you "the fossil" behind your back.

If you want to know his address, I can give it to you. I visit there now and then, as you already know, when he is away at the office.

I've got Jammer's address already. He has been bombarding me with messages asking me for Roscoe's mailing address. Apparently, he wants to send Roscoe clothing and jewelry.

Be careful Bill...Jammer may be grooming you. I hear he's into threesomes...and not the kind most guys would like.

Oh and Bill, make sure you thank your son for dropping all his good players.
Ookie didn't really need anymore good players on his team, especially a QB!

On a side note, I thought that once you were eliminated you could no longer add/drop players. Anyway...

Looks like my guys will just have to play even better.

Re: FF Preview: Semi 2 - Darth (2) v Jammer (3)

I don't think footballers was doing anything intentionally (I might be wrong though). I haven't really looked too closely at the players he's been dropping, only glancing at it every so often. I basically just wanted to make sure he wasn't dropping his best players (which he hasn't).

I don't have a problem with managers still wanting to play out the season to see how they do, but due to the potential for a problem (managers intentionally dropping their best players), I've just changed the settings for managers who have been eliminated preventing them from adding/deleting players. They can still adjust their lineups, but cannot add or delete players.

This is my first go at being commissioner, so I've never encountered something like this before. If I'm ever commish of a league again, I'll lock teams as soon as they're eliminated.

P.S. Webz, IMO, your pickup of Brandon Jacobs evens out Ookie's pickup of McNabb. So all is fair with the world again. PLAY BALL!

Yeah, he pulled Gonzalez out of the pool too. I could have used a wide receiver.

Talk about closing the barn door after all the horses have already escaped...

It's ok. It sucked, but I don't think he meant any harm. Probably just trying to have fun up to the last moment.

Not your fault either. I wouldn't have thought about locking rosters if I was commissioner either...who would think that someone would keep playing once eliminated?

My team is too to make much noise anyhow. I'll be very happy with this, if possible----->

yeah, well, i kinda had to grab him before he ended up on ookie's roster. lol.
i don't see myself using him anyway and i'll happily drop him if anyone objects. (as long as nobody else gets to have him)

i don't think he meant any harm either. maybe he might not have fully considered that dropping those players may affect other matchups still going on. and yes, i could have wasted my waiver order on one of those guys if i felt i really needed them.
but it just seems a bit weird that others improve their team and play with guys in the playoffs that they haven't had all season who weren't really worthy of falling to the waiver wire.

we'll see what happens. hopefully karma will take of itself.

I think he was just having fun. He actually asked me before my match-up against Jammer if any of his players could help me. I looked at his roster and didn't see anyone I would pick up. The only possibility was T.O. and he was on the no-drop list.

Of course, I told him that it isn't okay to cheat even if Jammer and Darth are both cheating.
