I completely agree D4E. While the perfect regular season and all of the other records set this season are EXTREMELY impressive, in order to be considered for "Best Team Ever" status or for it to be considered a truely "Perfect Season", they need to run the table as the Dolphins did.

The odd thing about that Dolphins team was that they weren't considered a particularly dominant club--they were even the underdogs in the Super Bowl to the Redskins! The next year's Dolphins team that repeated as champs was probably a better team.

Excellant game. What I noticed is how unLion both teams were. Instead of settling for a FG and a 6 point lead telling the other to get a TD to win, the Pat iced it with a TD.
The Giant pass-rush may be the best in the league this year, they hit Brady hurried him and sacked him twice, yet they scored 38 pts.
