Most TV pundits were rating Favre anywhere from 4th to 7th on the list of all time QBs. They say his shortcoming is only one Super Bowl victory. They're a bunch of deuce-bags...........

Is Favre the best QB ever? It's worth discussing. He has three MVPs. Joe Montana might come up for sure, but could Montana throw the long ball like Favre? Montana threw all those short balls and mid-range balls.

Marino? No ring but a great arm.

Brady? Jury's still out.

Bradshaw? Great arm and a great leader. Now a goofball.

Staubach? Aikman? Young? Unitas? Others?

Favre seemed to LOVE the game more than anyone else.
Elway seemed to love the game a lot too.

Re: Brett Favre Retires

Favre held a press conference today to explain his decision to retire and got emotional, so I guess that'll satisfy any fan's desire for "closure" more than the voice mail announcement to ESPN.

Re: Brett Favre Retires

We really needed some "closure" on the Barry Sanders retirement.
