Piston Passing Science alone could beat these guys. But if they think anyone will stand around on their own court and let us have our way, will get beat.
Pistons 90
Sonics 80

VERSUS

There must be some kind of way out of here
Said the Gangsta to Joe D.
There’s too much confusion
I can’t get no relief
Starters they play my time
Mo Evans dribble makes me hurt
None will develop my mind
Nobody of it is worth
Hey hey

No reason to get excited
The Prince he kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who feel that Allen is but a joke but uh
But you and I we’ve been through that
And this is not our fate
So let us not call paint plays now
Shot clock’s getting late
Hey

Hey

All along the frontcourt
Wallace kept the view
While all the Sonics came and went
Weak game rookies too, but huh
Outside in the cold distance
Larry Brown did growl
Two guards were approachin’
And the wind began to howl
Hey
Oh
All along the backcourt
Dropping dimes and treys like Nash
Gotta beware gotta beware we will
Yeah
Ooh baby
All along the backcourt

Re: Pistons At Sonics ~ March 3rd, 2006

Night time is the right time for game time once again on the west side. Pistons are treading water of losing two games in a row again, only once it has happen and I don't think it will happen again. Seattle is a perimeter team like the Pistons are. The only diference between the Pistons and Seattle is that Detroit can mix it up down low if they want.

The last loss was about bounds and energy, and if that happens again than the Pistons are in for a long night. Stop Allen and Lewis and the game is won don't let a role player have a career night and the Pistons should get this. They have to win to keep a 2 game lead and control their own destiny for HCA.

My prediction for tonight Detroit wins a fun up and down game 98-89.

Re: Pistons At Sonics ~ March 3rd, 2006

At what point can we start worrying about the excessive 3 point attempts? Or can we chalk that up to the Pistons taking things easy during the regular season? Sheed is the prime culprit. He shoots them even when the points are critical i.e. a 2 would just as well and without using the shot clock to see if a better opportunity may be available.

Rip was clutch tonight!

Re: Pistons At Sonics ~ March 3rd, 2006

Sheed was chuckin, but he was making up for it on the other end. And I need to give him credit for those big momentum changing throw downs.

Good thing they found the real hot hand at the end though.
