Now we talkin! Off the top of my head there appears to be 7 or 8 good "big" men comin out next draft. All of em ain't centers, but we outta be able to snag one of em.

I'd take that bet.

Even if I lost, this rook will still be better for US than Darko was.

Re: IDEAS for 2007 DRAFT PICK...

Mustafa Shakur has really picked up his game this year and is projected at NBADraft.net (as of today) to be a mid-second round pick.

ESPN.com: Arizona Wildcats - Mustafa Shakur Player Card

The Pistons worked him out last year but passed on him. Everyone loves a Lute Olsen (Arizona) player, so I think he will either get some interest with the Pistons second round pick if still available, get drafted higher (the Pistons own 1st rounder) or totally ignored if they saw something they didn't like. The kid has the size and scoring skills to play in Flip's offense.

Looks like Mustafa and the Cats come to Washington on January 4th. I'm going to see if I can snag some tickets for this game. If I can, I will give a scouting report.

Re: IDEAS for 2007 DRAFT PICK...

NBAdraft.net has Joe utilizing the "shotgun approach" in drafting 3 point guards with our three picks.

The highlights.

15 -Stuckey drafted with Nick Young and Acie Law still on the board.

27-Aaron Brooks? drafted with literally everyone else including Morris Almond on the board. What a vote of confidence for your #15 pick front office guys.

And then we throw the #57 away with yet another PG fresh off of hip surgery?

Are these guys for real or is this their vote of disconfidence in Joe Dumars?

Living off their rep. I can dig it. I hope to one day have a rep worth living off of.

Re: IDEAS for 2007 DRAFT PICK...

I like their information. its not entirely inaccurate. but its not looking at every team as closely as some others seem to be.

I guess they are the "Detroit Pistons" of mock draft boards.
