Re: Other Games Around the League

Chauncey was killin em last night!!! Your boy was cold as ice!!! I was reminded of how good that guy still really is!! He was shooting lights out. Afflalo has been doing well lately also. The night still belongs to Mr. Big Shot! Wait, the pistons could use a couple guys like that! That team is so hot right now, and doing it without their [i]best[i] player suited up! Cheers to Chauncey, cheers to the nuggets, cheers to pistonsforum.com!!

Re: Other Games Around the League

I dont know how accurate these numbers are, but I got them off ESPN.

Deron Williams - 6'3 207
Rodney Stuckey - 6'5 205

Now in my opinion, Deron Williams is not more "athletic" than Rodney Stuckey. Or one wouldn't assume so. Apparently he is. It just really makes me wonder if Stuckey truly is playing WELL over weight, after seeing him miss that dunk three games ago, and now seeing Deron Williams two hand with ease on Saturday night. Stuckey's got 2 inches on him, and supposedly weighs less! Pathetic.

Comparing Rodney Stuckey to Deron Williams is much like comparing a Honda Accord to a BMW 750i.

Why, I dont get it? I didn't say anything about their passing abilities, floor leadership, shooting percentages, or court awareness. Just commenting on Stuckeys size, and how he aint got NO HOPS! And based on each others height and weight, they are about as close as any two point guards in the league.

Looks like Carlos is getting back on track. 42 and 36 minutes in the last two games which were back to back. 13 pts ~ 9 boards ~ 6 assists and 3 steals against the Knicks and then comes back with 16 pts ~ 4 boards ~ 5 assists and 4 steals against Indy. He is starting to improve as a player.

An Accord and a BMW are similar as far as they're both sedans with four wheels and they fit 5 people. But BMW is more refined, more powerful, faster etc.

Bad analogy.

The point I was trying to make is they may be built similar, but Williams plays with more passion and energy.

And D Will can apparently dunk the basketball on a regulation 10 foot rim in the NBA.

Re: Other Games Around the League

Vince Carter was smoking hot last night. I really enjoyed watching that Hornerts-Magic game on TNT. I'm glad VC was never a Piston, but I always enjoyed him because his skill set is so unique. Always thought that when he got to this point in his career, he would be useless. Which he pretty much was the last month of the season. But then you get nights like last night where he carried the Magic to a much needed home victory.

It all started with the big fella inside. After causing Okafor to get 2 early fouls, then two early fouls on Sean Marks, Dwight Howard established himself down low. Think he had like 3 or 4 "and 1s" in the first quarter. New Orleans had to start sending help, and VC went OFF. Shooting 70% from the floor overall, and 60% from beyond the arc. He actually took the ball to the hole nicely for a couple of his own "and 1s".
