Maybe the suspension will get the Kings riled up. And they could win. And I could not look quite as foolish as I should for saying they will take two from the Spurs.

But probably not.

Re: Spur Talk

I saw Ron-Rons face had a cut/fat lip. Something hit him.

Thee, I don't know why more wasnt said about it, especially since he got the 1 game suspension for hitting Manu. Manu caught him with his elbow (I think) on Artest's first possession and 3 stitches were taken in the lip. Why nothing said? Dunno.

I was glad to see Kings play such a good game last night without Artest, it gave players a chance to really show up as a team. Game 1 was a blowout with Artest, so maybe he will play as a team when he gets back to Sac and respect his teamates. Game 3 in Sac is going to be a tough one for the Spurs.

Go Pistons, Beat the Bucks tonite

Re: Spur Talk

I'm really not sure how the Kings managed to screw up that lead last night. Leave Brent Barry open when you are up 3 with 8 seconds left???

One thing that is impressive though, is that the Spurs can put in Finley, Barry, Horry, Ginobili, and Parker in that situation. A very threatening 3 point line up with 2 slashers for the and1 threat.

Still, the Kings should have pulled that out. It would have become a very interesting series after that.

Oh well, we'll see the Spurs in the June again.

Let's see, leave a three point threat open in the last few seconds...

Who else do I remember doing that? Of course, that didn't make any more sense than this.

The Kings are doing their best to eliminate me from the playoff pool.

Re: Spur Talk

The Pistons were only up 2 though, right? So it sort of makes sense to help out, if you do it right.

Last night, with a 3 point lead and 8 seconds to go, I think that you just have to give Manu the layup. It was just a choke job.

And what about that foul to get Bonzi Wells out of the game? Their shorts brushed and Manu fake tripped. Horrible.

Re: Spur Talk

True, somewhat different situation.

Manu is one of the last great floppers.

I caught that game and that lineup for the Spurs also. That is an impressive lineup indeed, however, I would love to see that lineup against the Pistons. That is not their best defensive team. I believe Duncan was on the bench with foul trouble at the time.

Detroit would have to defend the 3, and not let Parker and Ginobili free access into the paint, but defensively Detroit would be able to doi almost anything they wanted.

Although the game situation would dictate who would be on the floor, I just thought that lineup was an interesting one for Popovich.

Well, Kings got us...

Felt kinda bad about it (mad about it) until I see how well you guys are handling the Piston loss. You know, because we are first we play 8th, and 8th is playing for their lives and we forget how they fight the elite teams...we lost to Kings in regular season and Pistons lost to Bucks, so I guess we can let them have ONE win, no more though.

I felt at the end of the season Avery was positioning Mavs to place 4th, he didnt want 1st because he didnt want to play Sacramento. That's okay, the Griz will come through with a couple of wins

Spurs better show up for tonight's game, especially Parker. If they dont get hungry, they may as well forget the Finals
