As a true Piston fan I have learned to disregard the media and the "hype machine." The NBA more than any other league has a tendency to promote big name mathchups and or a big market series to better advertise the NBA to casual basketball fans. The fact of the matter is that our style of play, playing defense, sharing the basketball, no egos, and playing the right way is not exactly sexy. In saying that if you want to see the two basketball teams in the finals this year there is no question most analysts and players will indeed say Detroit vs San Antonio.
