Larry Brown gag order

I'm too busy lately to read most posts, so I apologize if this was already posted, but I didn't see it upon a quick review of the threads.

Re: Larry Brown gag order

"During one brief roadside chat in the rain, Brown nearly hit Isiah Thomas' Road Ranger pulling back onto the road."

Now that would have been fun.

Re: Larry Brown gag order

DT, what's funny about the NYPost article is that Brown actually cares what the media think of him. Had his agent call them and apologize. Unbelievable.

He's always been good at cultivating media friendships. He golfed and dined with Mike Lupica enough times to turn him into his attack dog against Isiah Thomas.

Re: Larry Brown gag order

It is safe to say that Larry has mastered "the game". He's been at this (coaching) for 27 years.

Yeah, Lupica is my least favorite journalist on earth. I want to smack him every time I watch "The Sports Reporters." Larry looks like an older Lupica. Either that or Lupica looks like a young Larry Brown. I can't decide.

Re: Larry Brown gag order

The image of Larry Brown talking to the rabid sports media on the side of the road like some kind of fugitive from the Knicks Organization is too perfect. It really sums up what Davidson meant when he said that Larry Brown isn't a good person. Great coach, lousy person.

He has mastered playing the victim role. I think the gag rule is a smart move by the Knicks. The media always seem to complete the triangle of dysfunctional communication with Larry Brown.

What "dead man walking" ever got paid $40 million to just go away? Victim? Please. More like master manipulator. He doesn't even want to coach anymore, he just wants to pile up a nice stack of money on his reputation. Davidson was right. Larry Brown is not a good person.

Re: Larry Brown gag order

Poor, poor Larry. The guy is just misunderstood. No one understands him.

Who are we to judge the man? This saint of a man? This selfless, victim of the evil NBA empire bent on smearing his name. If your prick Larry Brown, will he not bleed? Has this man ever left a team in worse shape than it was when he got there? Is this not the man that tells his players he loves them during each and every timeout? This tiny, hobbit of a man, with the heart of a Lion. This man is your monster?

Larry Brown is most certainly NOT about the money or the attention. Larry Brown is about the money AND the attention.

God bless you Larry Brown. God bless you, and God bless your hot wife.

I'm a little confused. Isn't "Larry Brown" in apposition to the preceding word? Shouldn't there be a "comma" after it?
