Discuss.

I'm wondering why the timeout changes. I know they make the end of the game slower, so it seems like it's another attempt to make the game more Fan Friendly. Or the other hand, all the saved up timeouts do seem to ruin the rhythm of the game, much like too many free throws do. Thoughts?

Re: NBA 2006-2007 Rules Changes

I'm pretty sure fans will not notice the timeout changes. TV timeouts will be the beneficiary. In a close game, no one stops watching because of timeouts or the march to the free throw line. If anything, there is a captive audience scared to miss the high drama.

Re: NBA 2006-2007 Rules Changes

The good thing on the seeding is that is if we fall to second in the central divison behind the Cavs or Bulls, we could still get a 3 seeding if our record is better than the Atlantic division winner

NBA changes seeding format

I apologize if this was previously posted, but I don't recall seeing it. (Please remove it if this is the case).
