Joey Crawford left like a baggy pair of pants...

Suspended!

That's one less egotistical jerk for us to worry about come Wade-time. Uh, I mean playoff time.

ESPN.com - NBA - NBA suspends referee Crawford indefinitely

I'm sure everyone here is very happy that for once an NBA official is held accountable for his actions. This guy should be demoted to the D-League.

1 Crawford down, 1 to go.

You're next Danny boy!

It'll be interesting to see what the league does with Tim Duncan. Not sure what his role was in this altercation............. . Must've done something to upset the mild mannered Crawford...........

I'm a little surprised. The league usually isn't this visible about stuff like this.

Joey did look like his head was about to explode after he called the second tech.

Hey - I've sat next to Danny on several flights. He seems like a nice enough guy.

Before we cheer too loudly, let's hope we don't meet the Spurs in the Finals. In that circumstance, it would have been good to have the Timmy-hater calling the series.

Next time, call him a piece of %%%% and see how he reacts. Hopefully, you don't get ejected from the plane.

It looks like he has had some battles with anger in the past (anger management programs, etc).

Re: Joey Crawford left like a baggy pair of pants...

maybe it was the comments to the media that helped tip the scales. i can't really remember the last time i saw a referees comments in the news after a game.

dba, the reason he was nice on the plane may be because he was sedated for the flight.

Re: Joey Crawford left like a baggy pair of pants...

Dunkan got fined $25K for calling Crawford a "piece of ...". I believe it happened after he was already tossed.
I wonder how this affects all the other refs in the league and calling techs. Will Sheed get a bit more leeway?

Yeah, just like B.A. Baracus!!

He suffers an intense fear of flying, especially when the plane in question is flown by Murdock. This difficulty is often overcome by other members of the team drugging him, knocking him unconscious, or, as in one episode, hypnotizing him, so he can be transported without objection.

Tim Duncan's ejection, "The ball does not lie", and a really bad offensive call on Umberto (watch Howard fly into Oberto @ 2:45) all in one clip!
