In response to intense pressure from knowledgable basketball fans everywhere, the Orlando Magic have dismissed head coach Brian "Bob" Hill. Top priorities for the Magic's offseason include re-signing Darko Milicic, and finding the perfect replacement for Hill.

Hill was stuck on stubborn.

His 3 biggest mistakes/flaws IMO:

1) The Magic were way too turnover prone to play at the slowest tempo in the NBA. He should have opened up the game for his athletic team.
2) Player development. For a team that had zero shot at a title, he was stupid to be so cautious with Reddick and Deiner. These guys showed a lot when they got their chances and then got benched for games at a time.
3) He was too in love with the vets. Even though he gave Darko more PT than any NBA coaches before him, he had an irrational love for Battie and Garrity. Think LB and Darvin Ham. Carlisle and Michael Curry. It was that bad.

I'm just happy that I won't have to hear "Well Darko can't even start over Battie" anymore. There was NO REASON WHATSOEVER WHY DARKO SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN STARTING other than Brian Hill being stubborn and pig-headed. I can't imagine the Magic hiring a coach that won't use his players better than Brian Hill.

Like Tayshaun said: You can't play a halfcourt style when you lead the league in turnovers, they had too many athletes to walk it up on every possession.

I can't wait until the next coach doesn't start Darko. This guy chews coaches up and spits them out.

Any chance we could get Brian Hill in Detroit after Flip retires a 3 time champion?

Hill should have won the Championship last year and this year if he only would have put Darko in the starting lineup. I look at it as two championships thrown away because Coach Hill doesn't like young players. Or old players.

I wonder if Hill had a problem with Darko's work ethic.

If Larry brown decided to apply for the magic head coaching position, what would Darko's reaction be:
