I believe that everyone already knows about these, but just to recap:
The Blazers sent Zach Randolph, Fred Jones and Dan Dickau to the New York Knicks for Channing Frye and Steve Francis. And the Sonics traded Ray Allen to the Boston Celtics for Delonte West, Wally Szczerbiak and the rights to the No. 5 pick, Jeff Green.

Re: Player Movement Tracker and Rumors 2007

The NBA's Charlotte Bobcats waived veteran Brevin Knight today, leaving them without a backup point guard.
Knight was scheduled to make just over four million dollars next season but had a buyout clause in his contract for 1.5 million.
Knight started in the team's inaugural season in 2004-2005. But 2005 first-round draft pick Raymond Felton eventually replaced Knight in the starting lineup.
Now, the Bobcats likely will need to sign another point guard to back up Felton, who averaged 14 points and seven assists last season.
The 31-year-old Knight averaged 9.1 points and 6.6 assists last season when he was limited to 45 games.

So after we sign Billups do we go after Knight, Boykins or train one of those draft picks to be the main backup

Darko's QO was around $6.8 million. This is merely pre-FA protocol.

No, I think for once the young guys should be the first backups (Stuckey, Afflalo, Amir, J Max, and one older guy Dice)
