Actually the Garnett trade will do something that I have not yet seen mentioned.

That is, it will return the Celtics to ESPN headline time. Finally, after all of these dead Celtic years ESPN gets a renewed opportunity to hype another local Boston team.

So now we can look forward to 2007 NBA media coverage to be in order.

I like it. Trades and new blood make the league more interesting. I'd like to see more of this not less.

I think the league / union has swung too far toward limiting player movement. I'd rather see GMs rated on their ability to evaluate talent rather than their ability to divine the entrails of the CBA.

Right on. Even in HDTV they are ugly. LOL

Why I like this trade:

It will help put the Pistons under the radar while the Celtics and LeBron get all the coverage. While the Pistons are under the radar though they better get a hell of a game plan and finally finish playoff series instead of burning out.
