I thought that Flip was ranked kind of high, but I guess if you look at overall success he's above many others. What I mean by that is what we (Pistons fans) see as a failure many other teams/fans would love to have achieved.

You have got Dunleavy down twice. He has Rivers as #19.

Some people would move Saunders up a slot for Hack-a-Shaq. Number 6 on the list, Don Nelson, was the master of Hack-a-Shaq.

I don't know that that's true. Dunleavy invented it in Portland. So he gets a slot above Flip. Flip just imitated it, and poorly at that, and then succumbed to it as a coach himself by pulling the targeted player.

Flip Saunders, Detroit: He has won 50 games in five of the past six seasons, and has won 10 playoff encounters in three of the past four but more importantly he is nice to the secretarial staff and doesn't create drama like Larry Brown. He hasn't won the big playoff games however he has guided the Pistons to some impressive regular season and preseason wins. He's not immune from mounting criticism that he doesn't have the right personality to win with the Pistons' veteran core, however he is pleasant to the media and Bill Davidson seems to like him. He has won 117 games in two seasons and still has a lot of room for error considering that Detroit fans will settle for a decent regular season record and don't seem to mind if his teams self destruct in the playoffs.
This makes sense to me.
