Mychal Thompson Laker's commentators cracked a couple of good ones in the first quarter.

1. Why would anyone throw an ally-oop to Okur? He can't even jump over a credit card.

2. Utah's interior defense is softer than a fluffed up feather pillow.

And we thought the Pistons 64 pt first half was dominant tonight???? The Lakers put up 75!! The Lakers and Clippers are going in opposite directions real fast and all of the local respect the Clips gained the past 2 years has gone out the window with the Livingston and Brand on the shelf and Sam E.T Cassell playing in between injuries....

Why do we have such trouble with the Jazz. Other teams must run the pick and roll against us. We can stop them. Why can't be beat the Jazz?

Kwame messed up on the receiving end of a couple of ally-oops. The Lakers players glared at him, like WTF can't you successfully execute a simple ally-oop. I think Bynum has spoiled them. LOL

Brutal loss for the Spurs tonight, as Toronto beat them 83-73 in San Antonio. Manu is out with a finger injury, but Duncan and Parker both played, and yet the Spurs shot 32% from the floor with 19 turnovers! Parker had 7 TOs, Duncan 5. Yikes.

The Lakers must have their baskets mic'd.

You can really hear it when someone flushes it.

Re: 2007-08 general league thread (non-Pistons)

T-blazers extend their winning streak to a dozen as they beat up on the hapless t-wolves who are 0-21 when they don't score over 100 points.

With sixers at home Sunday and then the defensless Jazz, twolves again, and Bulls on the road, and then back home with the jazz again and then warriors, they could conceivably stretch their winning streak out to 18 games until they meet up with the Raptors in Toronto on Jan 13. What would happen if Oden actually came back in late March??

Portland gets the Jazz twice more that soon? They've already beaten Utah twice in their current win streak.

9 of those wins have been at home.

They beat Utah in Salt Lake. Nothing great about that. The Lakers are up over 30 against the Jazz after 3 quarters tonight.

They also beat Denver in Denver which is a good win.

Still 9 of the 11 wins have been at home, but bottom line is that you still have to win whether at home or on the road so 11 in the row is an excellent accomplishment, but lets see what happens on Dec 31st at Utah followed by road games at MN and the Bulls.

I don't think that they will all of these, especially at Chicago.
