I wil go out on a limb here and say that for future considerations, I would take either over Billups now even though both have only two years of experience.. Williams got the Jazz to the WCF last year and I willing to bet that Hornets grab at least the 6th seed in the west this year with the help of Paul, Peja, and Chandler. |

At this point it doesn't look like the Pistons management is looking at Hot Rod as an off guard, getting another young point guard might be redundant. I don't see Hot Rod as a long term backup point guard but as an all star player. While it seems to me that Hot Rod will not approach either Paul or Williams in APG, he will turn out to be a better scorer and defender. ![]() |

| Re: C. Paul or D. Williams - Who Is Better I would have said Deron before the season or earlier this year but now I would have to go with Chris Paul. Both Pg's have their respective teams in the playoffs but cp3 is taking the Spurs down. I know its not over yet but they have home court advantage and they look very good. After watching him play these playoffs he has not disappeared like Deron has and I like they way he plays.... Cp3 gets my vote now. |

As would I. I am a big fan of Pauls but the debate of who is better is sort of like the debates that folks had concerning the likes of Stockton and Thomas. Or how about Joe D. and Clyde Drexler? What about Reggie Miller? Back then there was Magic (one in a lifetime blend of size, skill and intuition) and then there were the close seconds (Stock and Zeke). There was Jordan, and then you are looking at the other guys saying "who's number 2?" The only thing that I might think puts one ahead of the other is when I look at both Deron and Chris, I feel Chris has the "potential" to be the guy that puts everyone else into that "the rest" category. Or he and Williams may end up being in the "who else" category while someone spectacular comes in and changes the game. That would be exciting. |
