The biggest recent bust

Who is the biggest bust in recent memory? • Kahn Games - FOX Sports Blogs

So just who is the biggest bust since 2001?
To me it comes down to three players -- Kwame Brown, the name that began this whole scenario in 2001 with the Wizards; Denver’s Nikoloz Tskitishvili in 2002; and Darko Milicic in 2003 with the Pistons. None of them are with their original team, with Tskitishvili not even in the league. So let’s break it down.

So it’s a wrap. You win Darko, hands down ... the biggest bust since the 2001 draft.

Re: The biggest recent bust

I watched Kwame Brown last night attempting to fill in for Bynum. Not good.

Part of it is that mentally Darko and Kwame don't seem to have it together. Both are flops.

Re: The biggest recent bust

I would have to say Sammy Meija. At the beginning of the season, it looked like Billups days were numbered. Just a few months later, and Tashawn had to work the numbers to find his contribution to the Mad Ants.

We didn't finish strong last season cause Bonderman continued to lose his games after the all star break. He generally is weak the 2nd half of the season when crunch time comes. If he'd have had a winning record the second half of the season, we would have been in the playoffs.
