Smile The Big Cactus

CNBC and Shaq reached an agreement on his new nickname with Shaq agreeing to pay 15% of his income from "The Big Cactus" nickname.

So start listening for the The Big Cactus rather than The Diesel and see if happens.

Re: The Big Cactus

Now that is a good nickname! I like it.

He's so slow, it's like he has roots.

If you're lost in the desert and you're desperate, you turn to the cactus for that last drip of water before you die... which seems to be the case here.

The big prick would have been another option.

Actually that is what Shaq said.

When he suggested his new nickname be "The Big Nash"
The interviewer suggested "The Big Cactus"
Shaq thought for a few seconds, which is probably about as long as he can think for. . Just kidding.
and then he said. "Big Cactus I like it because like a cactus I stick it to them".

Which means that maybe he can be re-nicknamed "The Big Desert Rose Prick"

Re: The Big Cactus

They are going to start calling him the big overpaid slug if they don't start winning.

It amazed me how most the analysts do not acknowledge the fact that they lost Marion. Even now they blame it on chemistry issues.

Re: The Big Cactus

Best line of the day from Woody Paige on "Around the Horn" Shaq has turn the Phoenix Suns into the Miami Heat!

Nash is down 5 assists a game since the trade, since he can find the Matirix out on the wing....it's early, but Steve Kerr maybe on the hot seat if the Cactus slows this team down to crawl...meanwhile the trade hasn't improve the Heat yet either, but they should be in perfect position for a high lottery pick.
