Yeah, but he could still grab a rebound and keep the forwards honest.

KT certainly has his skills, but I bet he would get Dale Davis type minutes on a contender like the Pistons.

Re: Spurs trade for Kurt Thomas

A reaction to ' Shaq to Suns' trade. Spurs are thinking that they have to play the Suns agains in the playoffs en route to the Finals. Spurs needed KT to bang inside with Shaq.

KT can shoot below 18 footers quite well. A good trade for the Spurs who know that future draft picks meant nothing when Timmy retires.

sure PJ Brown can hit a jumper but when do you play him? our best bet would be to find a better backup 2/3 for the playoffs

Re: Spurs trade for Kurt Thomas

Joe D should try to trade for Brent Barry:
- Flip Murray
- Brezec/Hayes/Herrmann
- 2nd round pick

We can? Am I wrong?

I'm kinda leaning toward Joe snagging a back-up 3 AND a back-up 4/5.
If Dumars can't get 'er done by 3:00pm today, I'll be watching the waiver wire and free-agent lists.

As far as the back-up 4/5 spot. PJ or Double-D would work fine for me.

...and I'd love to see another option at the 3 with a little more defense than Arivs (no "J" lately).

Off topic question for you based on your forum name BallDon'tLie.

We know that that phrase is used by Sheed and he may have even coined it.

My question is

Should the Tigers use that phrase as their team slogan for the year?
Wouldn't it be cool if someone wrote a song entitled BallDon'tLie
and
Each time that a Tigers hitter sends one out of the yard they play that song at Comerica.

That would be so cool.

You can answer on the Tigers Forum here.

Thanks

I'm kinda strongly agreeing with all that. I'd love to get 2 out of these 3 from Milwaukee.

Bogut (have to give up Dyess probably, or at least Max)
Charlie "The Hairless Chihuahua" Villaneuva
Gadzuric

and we have the picks and contracts to make it happen

bogut and Sheed would be a sick front line.
