I'm sure there is already some sort of handshake-wink-wink-under-the-table deal already in the works, especially with the Bon Jovi banner rising to the rafters of the Palace last week.

Woah, oh
We're half way there
Woah, oh
Living on a prayer
We've got Flip Saunders
So we'll make it I swear
Woah, oh
Living on a prayer

Very fitting indeed.

What is that date this year?

Re: Brent Barry

Apparently it is March 1. That is the date he must be waived by. So not exactly as I thought it was.

This thread was created to blow up my mind!!!!!!
If the Spurs didnt want this man from the breeding ground of losers, what would make you think we'd want him?

Because they do want him and they are going to get him back and win the Championship with his last second shot when Sheed screws up.

The Spurs needed a big man and Barry's contract fit. I don't think they "wanted" to get rid of him. In fact, I'm almost positive they didn't in any way want to get rid of him. He's a truly phenomenal shooter and a very good passer, even if he's soft and doesn't play defense. That places him one step above Jarvis Hayes in my book.

Still, he'd probably have more value in San Antonio than here.
