Re: Casell waived by Clippers!

Already announced that he will sign officially on Monday, which I thought was after the 3/1 deadline, but in the spirit of making sure that Celtics get to the finals, someone at NBA headquarters will make sure that this is approved and the Men in Green are pumping up the ratings in June

Since former T-wolves vets are being picked up added to teams for depth, should we move 37 year old Hunter to the front office and pick up 37 year Sprewell to be our penetrator when our guys decide to have jumpshooting contest? After all Spre did make the all NBA defensive team one year and I guarantee he can still shoot better than Hunter.... Latrell Sprewell - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I know it would not be a popular decision around here, but needed to stir up more late nite discussions, since every other team seems to be adding veteran depth to their teams.

Re: Casell waived by Clippers!

A second post scorer will really help them when Pierce is having a bad game.

Good last-shot lineup, too: Ray Allen, Pierce, Cassell...

Don't worry about Cassell. I hope that he has the ball in his hands at his age. Hey, we just got the shot blocking Ratliff. Now that is a move by Joe!

Re: Casell waived by Clippers!

Actually, Sam Casell would fit in pretty good with the '80s Celtics.

I would take Sprewell in a second. Even if he just sat on the bench and gave the stinkeye to the opposing team, I think it would be worth it.
