Whither the Bulls...

So, here Pax is again. Lots of young talent, complete lack of veteran leadership, and now the #1 pick. Not a coach to be seen anywhere. What's a GM to do?

Adding yet another talented youngster to the mix without making any other changes seems like a dead-end to me. The phrase Baby Bulls has already been used and discarded.

Pax has been unable to pull the trigger time and again, but this time for sure. Come on Pax, put the trading hat on and make like Danny Ainge.

They have tradable assets. They just had a bad year, but I think they are in OK position for a 4 year rebuild. A lot of other teams would trade positions with them right now.

It must've really hurt their feelings being fodder for a Kobe trade. From eliminating the champs last P/O to 30 wins this year.

The Heat could definitely use a "Hinrich maneuver".

Indeed. But do the Bulls need to start over with yet another rookie point guard?

I guess its how good you think rose is? I have never been overly impressed with any of chicago's pg's so I'd go for the hometown boy.... and trade a few of the young kids for some vetern help.

Re: Whither the Bulls...

One thing is for certain, the Bulls won't be wasting their unexpected gift on a 17-year-old unknown from Serbia who has "tremendous upside" but is still a "3- to 4-year project"

They already did that with two 18 year old projects, Chandler and Curry.

They could trade their pick to Memphis for a young Serb with "tremendous upside".
