I played ping pong for years in the family basement with my brothers. No way I could hang with any Olympic-level players, but I'd eat you for lunch, Dlev.

(unless you ever seriously played in competitive tournaments or something like that, in which case I might have to wuss out on backing that up)

Yea, trampoline is amazing....and they don't even use the safety walls like my neighbors' trampoline has...

I hate when I accidentally see a result that I'm planning to watch on prime time later.

WE are just going to have a little tournament so I can put both of you in your place. I don't lose at ping pong. It's just not in my DNA.

Re: Team USA/Olympics

I thought I was really good at ping pong when I got to college. So I ended up joining the club team. Big mistake. Those dudes were on another plane. I went from beating everyone that I knew to being embarrassed on a weekly basis. They were nice, but clearly frustrated with my inability to return their spinners.

As with most things, there is always someone better out there.

Yeah, it's on the same day as the sumo wrestling.

Re: Team USA/Olympics

I just looked up men's olympic trampoline. Looks like the finals are on tommorrow at 5:15am PST. If I didn't have to leave for work, I would probably stay and watch it. Damn. Why did they put this on Tuesday morning, and have solo cycle trials on Sunday during prime time?

Re: Team USA/Olympics

Trampoline is really pretty similar to watching gymnastics. They obviously get more air, so they can do much more.

My wife loves me being an hour ahead of her (while I'm here in IN finishing an internship) because I can tell her what the results are before she watches it on TV. She sometimes has trouble dealing with the suspense.

Re: Team USA/Olympics

Anyone worried about Bogut and his all-of-a-sudden 3pt shooting ability?
