| This guys so conspiracy theorised up the orange basketballs in his eyes won't stop bouncing ! Found him in the DetNews Forum. - Sun. 08/31/08 09:21 AM Chain Reaction - It's Just Business What was the highest rated NCAA game? Michigan State vs. Indiana State - Magic vs. Bird. Now Bird was drafted in 1978 and Magic in 1979; they couldn't come out the same year because one had to go to Boston and one to Los Angeles. Who wins the championship the very next season in 1979-80? Magic Johnson. Who then wins in 1981? Larry Bird. Now both Magic and Bird beat Dr. J. to win their titles, so who gets rewarded in 1983? Doctor J. Who does Dr. J. sweep? The defending world champion Lakers. Who did the Sixers get to "sweep" the Lakers? Moses Malone, who was with the Rockets and threw the 1981 series to Bird's Celtics so Boston could win - they were rewarded. In 1984, who was back in the Finals? Bird vs. Magic. Who won? Bird. Who made costly mistakes so the Celtics could win games 2,4, and 7 of that series? Magic. Why did he do so? Because Magic already had 2 rings so Bird needs another ring to tie it up 2-2. The Lakers and Celtics played again in 1985 and who won? The Lakers. Why? Because they threw the 1984 series. So now Magic has 3 rings Bird has 2. Who won in 1986? Boston. Now it's tied 3-3. Who did they beat? Houston. Why Houston? Because the defending champion Lakers threw the series with Houston in the WCF. Now in 1987, the Lakers were going to win because it was fixed. Who did they play? Boston. Why? Because Isiah threw the ball to Bird on purpose. Who wins in 1987? The Lakers. Why? Because they threw the 1986 Conference Finals to make sure Boston (Bird) wins. Who is in the Finals in 1988? The Pistons. Why? Because Isiah was rewarded for throwing the ball to Bird on purpose. Who gets hurt in 1988? Isiah. Why? Because he's in on it to make sure Magic wins back-to-back. The NBA showed us that game was fixed by making that foul call on Laimbeer when Detroit was up 3-2. Lakers win back-to-back. How the heck is Isiah so hurt in 1988 that he just comes in the game and plays that well but then (with rest) he just all of a sudden can't play but 23 minutes in game 7? Isiah helped the Celtics get to the Finals in 1987 and the Lakers win in 1988. Who wins in 1989? The Pistons. Who did they beat. They beat the Lakers. Who was hurt in that series? Scott and Magic. Both Scott and Magic guard Thomas and Detroit's strength - their guards. How do we know Magic and Scott had hamstring problems? Truth is we don't! But it shows how Isiah was rewarded in 1989. Thomas was also rewarded in 1990 by the help of the NBA with Magic throwing that second rounder to Phoenix having the best record. Isiah gets another title for helping out Boston and L.A. in 1987 and 1988. Now it's Jordan's turn to win. Who suddenly gets hurt? Isiah. Why Isiah? He was sitting down chillin' so Jordan and the Bulls could win in 1991. Who did the Bulls play? Magic. Why? Because Magic threw 1990 on purpose to Phoenix in the second round to reward Isiah for 1987 and 1988, now Magic is being rewarded in 1991 for the very same thing. Why do you think Riley left in 1990 after going 63-19 being coach of the year and being named coach of the decade? So Jordan wins in 1991 beating Magic. Magic is back in the Finals for being rewarded for 1990 and beats Portland who was the best team in the league in 1991. Now Magic has to retire because of the HIV virus (yeah right). So who does MoneyMaker Jordan play in 1992? Clyde Drexler. The Trailblazers who threw the 1991 series to the Lakers for the NBA are in the Finals in 1992 against the Bulls. It's hard for Jordan to lose because Jordan losing doesn't make cash for the league. Unless you have say a larger market in the Finals like New York. The Knicks were supposed to win in 1993 but Jordan held on too long and his ego didn't allow it. So the Knicks lose and guess who wins? Jordan. It's sick that his dad died that very same offseason; then the man is forced to retire because of that and possibly other reasons. The point is Mike didn't allow the Knicks to win in 1993 like Isiah, Magic, Bird, and Dr. J had previously done; so Mike had to retire. Who wins when Mike is gone? The Rockets win back-to-back rings. Why? Because they threw the 1981 Finals and the 1986 Finals to the Celtics. Who do the Rockets play in 1994? The Knicks - who should've won the year earlier. Then Jordan makes a comeback. What does Jordan have to do? Lose in order to pay back his 1993 debt to the league; and lose on purpose to Orlando in the second round. Who did Orlando play? Houston. Why? To pay Houston back for the 80's. So now the time is right for Jordan to come back proper and win his 3 rings for the league to make money for the NBA. Why do you think in both cases Jordan retired on top? Because the first time his ego wouldn't let him lose - he payed a big price for it. Then the second time he won 3 rings because he played the game letting Orlando beat him in 1995. Jordan 3 peats because Utah threw that series letting a sick Jordan (who wasn't really sick it was staged) beat them in 1997 leaving Kerr wide open. Then in 1998, the Jazz let Jordan take a wide open shot without a double team with Russell guarding him one on one. Who did Chicago play in 1997 and in 1998? The Jazz, who did the Jazz beat to get to those Finals? The Lakers. Then the strike season occurs and the Spurs win in 1999. Who did the Spurs beat in the second round? The Lakers. Gee, who comes to the Lakers in 1999-2000? Phil Jackson. Who wins 3 straight rings? The Lakers/Shaq. Why? Because Shaq let the Spurs beat him once and the Jazz beat him twice and even let Jordan beat him in 1996 and Hakeem in 1995. So Uncle Phil is in town so the NBA looks for a new Jordan named Kobe Bryant. Haven't we seen this movie before? Now it's 2002-2003 and the Spurs must be rewarded for Duncan faking his injury in 2000 and allowing the Lakers to beat him in 2001 and in 2002 so guess what? The Spurs win!. So it's 2003-2004 and so the NBA wants to promote this Kobe and Shaq riff for marketing purposes because people are beginning to catch on. So Kobe and Shaq fight while Detroit wins the championship. Detroit got rewarded with the NBA Finals ring by letting the Nets beat them in 2003. In 2005 the Spurs win because they allowed the Lakers to beat them in the 2004 second round. Who do the Spurs beat? Detroit. Why? Because Detroit is playing the game - which is why Sheed left Horry wide open. In 2005 the Pistons beat the Heat to go to the Finals and the Spurs beat KG and Flip. Who wins up in Detroit in 2005-06? Flip. Who goes to the Finals? The Heat. Why? For letting Detroit beat them in 2005. Who is the coach of the Heat? Pat Riley, who got out after he was forced to throw 1990 and 1994 away with both the Lakers and Knicks. So Riley and Shaq both get their ring. Riley's payback was just explained while Shaq's payback is getting that 4th ring having throw series to the Jazz, Rockets, Bulls, and Pistons - 4 teams, and how many rings does Shaq have? 4. Now it's 2007 and you know Lebron has to get some time because he's the new faced superstar. So who does LeBron play? The Spurs and the Spurs win because they threw 2001 and 2002 to the Lakers, so now they've made up for those loses with rings over Detroit and the Cavs. And by the way, Horry was part of the Rockets, Lakers, and Spurs championship runs - the same guy Sheed left wide open on purpose; the same guy who didn't play well in 2003 so the Spurs could win when he played for the Lakers; and the same guy who didn't show up versus the Lakers in the second round of 2004. He's now rewarded with two more rings (2005, 2007). Now it's 2008 and the Pistons have thrown series to the Spurs, Heat, Cavs, and now Boston. Who is in the Finals? The Celtics. Why? Because KG has to win his ring for having the best record in the West throwing the 2004 WCF to help the Lakers and the NBA out. So now it's KG's turn and Boston is a perfect scenario and Kevin McHale (former Celtic) traded Garnett to the Celtics and his former teammate Danny Ainge. Great pass McHale! So now it looks like for the next 3-5 seasons we could see the Pistons and LeBron led teams get to the Finals. My guess is LeBron will go to another market while Detroit continues to win but LeBron will get his rings because of the 2007 and 2008 rings he threw away on purpose to help out the NBA. Don't be surprised if you see the Spurs, Suns, and Lakers back because the Lakers threw this series with Boston in 2008 and the Spurs threw the 2008 WCF to the Lakers to help out the league while teams like Phoenix and New Orleans lost on purpose. New Orleans is coming up too because Byron Scott - a former Laker - made sure the Nets lost in back-to-back Finals in 2002 & 2003. Eddie Jordan was a coach on those teams and has been rewarded with a coaching job in Washington since that time. The Wizards will come up as well for being rewarded for allowing LeBron to beat them as well. Teams you'll see win rings in the future: LeBron-led teams; Kobe-led teams; Pistons, Hornets, Spurs; and possibly Wizards over the next 10 years. Phoenix needs to be rewarded too - why do you think they got former Blazers' guard Terry Porter who played on those teams in the mid-90's who threw series to both the Lakers ('91) and Bulls ('92). I also forgot to mention how Clyde received His ring in 1995 with the Rockets with Clyde throwing those rings also. Who is with the Rockets now? Rick Adleman - the same guy who coached Portland in during Portland's run in 1989-1992. Gee, I wonder who had the number one pick in the draft and which team is a young powerhouse in the coming seasons also? PORTLAND!!!! It's just a chain reaction - just business though. Enjoy the games! Mahornztrainer, Atlanta, GA - Between everybody having equal number of rings and throwing series so an ---Anointed One--- wins the Championship. It all makes sense to me now. ![]()

| Re: Chain Reaction, Conspiracy Theory The only team that I can tell that has gotten the shaft in the theory is the Nets. They got to the finals after beating the Pistons who laid down in order to win later but the Nets did not get anything for laying down to the Lakers or Spurs. Kidd was considered a superstar he has not gotten the finals win he should have in theory. That said Kidd getting traded to and playing for the Mavs might be his ticket. The Mavs let the Heat win and now they have Kidd a double deal in the conspiracy lose to win later deal.

| Re: Chain Reaction, Conspiracy Theory My gawd Abe you've got it. Remember Kidd was a naughty boy, that's why he was traded. The league felt the need to punish him more. So that makes the Suns elgible since they traded him. |
