Thanks guys. I was a little ticked yesterday because it took them more than an hour to diagnose the problem, and 45 minutes to do the hardware replacement, and I think they didn't even know it was down if not for me telling them.

So much for their uptime monitoring service.

Forum down this morning 6/25/10.

At around 7AM, our domain name registration expired. It was set to auto renew every two years, but it was hooked up to an inactive PayPal account from 2 years ago, and the automatic re-registration failed due to a lack of funds available.

I woke up, saw error messages and a gentle nudge from basketbills about the situation, and was able to renew our registration manually for the next year (during which time I can reorganize how our registration is renewed and by whom). I believe we were back online at 10:30 AM which is pretty good considering I got out of bed at 10:15 AM.

Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the confusion/stress caused.

I just assumed that since Joe drafted another shooting guard and another big man who needs to add strength, everyone had canceled their membership and the forum was out of bidness.

You may have noticed that the forum was down for a bit this morning. That was because I moved the REAL forum over to a new domain name to keep that annoying Darth Tater away. The FAKE website will remain at pistonsforum.com while the new site will now be located at (real link removed).

I set the old site up to automatically post random messages to keep Darth fooled, however the software isn't 100%, so I'd appreciate if you could post something on the fake board every now and then to keep Tater guessing.
