Discuss: At Golden State November 14th, 10:30 PM at Detroit Pistons Fan Community - PistonsForum.com

Golden State's announcers were unusually good I thought. They knew their stuff and brought up interesting stats....

You had to qualify it.

I watched the whole comeback but I was still staying out of chat. Then I popped back in during the final minute to celebrate the win. I think we need a separate smiley for this.

Second night in a row, the opposing teams' announcers are on one hand preparing their teams TV fans about the heralded Piston defense on the other hand praising their team for penetrating it. That heralded defense disappeared a couple of years ago, but does pop up on occassion.

Props to Roscoe who in the Chat room "quoted Alicia Keys" by saying that everything will be alright" before he bailed prior to halftime.

Props also to Mikhail for being at the game and providing the Karma forum vibe to his favorite team. I asked the question in the chat room wondering if you were still there when it appeared that all was lost, but jzchen assured me with the tickets so high, you would stay to the end.. thanks for hangin in there bro and thanks for the nice pics.
Having Max start and bring Dyess off the bench....hmmmm?.. where I heard that b4????

Re: At Golden State November 14th, 10:30 PM

Roscoe qouted ALICIA KEYS? Next he'll e singing along to BizMarkee!!!

THis game really slapped me in the face. So my qtr by qtr will be real wack today:

1st QTR: All I kept saying was "typical-typical-typical!" I knew I saw the blow out coming with GSW having nothin 2 lose. We were lucky to be down 15-40, but watching Davis does remind me of me. I was WILD!!

2nd qtr: My tirade on Rip begins. Maybe we can trade him for a 1st round pick and let Tay have his shots. It seems the league has him figured out. Is the baby keeping him up late? Lead is 22 .I just turned tv off. Will watch in the morning.....zzzzzzzzzz

3rd qtr: Wondering why no babe shots in the crowd?(now i know...Mikhail swallowed them up!) Pistons go zone. "Dum-dum-dum..Great MOVE!!" 2 BONEHEAD PLAYS BY Ronald McHated! Warriors regain control..it seems.

4th qtr: Sheed, Tay and Max take over. This game is so simple , aint it? Work through your bigs and u win games. The defense just wore GSW outt! I am very impressed. Two well coached games by Flip this year.

I ma not happy with the motivation to start the game, but by fighting back as such, I am very enzyted about this win sans Chauncey and Dyess.

THREE : Sheed, Max and Tay

THREE: ronald, Hayes and Rip

good pix, Mikhail...

6-2, not bad...thats a 61-21 season!

Give Ronald a break, HQ. He had one of his better games as a Piston. 15 pts and 12 asst is nothing to sneeze at.

Re: At Golden State November 14th, 10:30 PM

this was the best piston's win in awhile. i was sitting there getting frustrated again in the 1st half, but i did feel better about the game and our chances of winning than when we played portland, even though the deficit was far greater.

we were terrible in the 1st half and flip murray got lit up by baron davis. davis is sweet though, and chauncey has trouble with him too. i'll give credit to saunders for appropriately adjusting in the 2nd half, playing zone and letting tay guard davis. murray did seem to be lost at times on this, wanting to guard davis when it was no longer his responsibility.

the best part of this game was that we had 10 guys play around 10 or more minutes each, and we still came back from a 22-point deficit and won against a desperate, well-rested team.

maxiell - 14 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 blocks, 1 steal, making over 50% of his shots and free throws, including 2 in the clutch. only 3 fouls in 44 minutes. take away the few times he dribbled in the lane and got it swiped and he would've had a perfect game.

sheed - unguardable.

biedrins reminds me of amir in that they are both good at putting the ball in the hoop close to the basket, even though it doesn't always look all that pretty.

Imagine how I felt surrounded by the Warriors fans. That place sure is loud.
