I think this has more to do with Charlotte being an over-rated sports market than a failure of the WNBA. Recent reports suggest that franchises can be purchased for less than $10 million, making them one of the cheapest buys in the sports team market, and a golden opportunity for any multi-millionaire to get onto the ground floor of ownership with a cheap vanity purchase.

yeah, the folks here in Carolina are all bent out of shape about it.... Its not long for the WNBA until we get some sexapeel in this league...sorry to say...how bout tennis skirts and belly rings?

have you seen what the australian league girls have to wear?
