Athlete?? Cheryl Ford?? Naw......don't get it twisted she can ball but not what I would call an athlete.

Deanna Nolan is the best athlete in the league, she's only 5'10" and can dunk, I actually played some pick up with her in Flint before, she can ball with the best of them girlfriend has got some legit hops. Parker and Leslie can also dunk but their tall and long, Nolan just plain got hops.

They both have different games. Ford is PF and from what I have seen rarely takes a shot from beyond 3'. She is kind of the bruiser type player who grabs a ton of boards. The all-time league leader in RPG.

We would be lucky to find the male equivalent for the Pistons.

Well said, Max. I love her game. She does the dirty work in Laimberian style.

We had one, his name was Ben Wallace, but we choose Flip over Wallace.

No Piston Big guy has brought it on both sides of the court like She does since Bob Lanier. She can score to you know.

ggazoo - good point on Lamb. He must have hat a lot of influence on her.

No doubt, but she still don't have the hops that Tweety has, watch Nolan on her drives to the hoop and her pull-up "J", it's sick how much lift she has for a female.

Yes she is one of the best guards in the league. Kind of gives you and idea why they won the title last year. Katie Smith their SG is the 4th best scorer of all time in total points.

Dunking doesn't make you an athlete.

Being able to be the best or near the best in your sport makes you an athlete and a superior one.
