Yes, Glynny was definitely waived by Detroit. Here's an
article I found that comments on it.
The following is a quote from the article;
"Glyniadakis is one of three Roanoke players who were cut from NBA training camps last month.
He was waived by the Detroit Pistons, who drafted him in the second round in 2003. He hadn't joined them for camp until this year because he was under contract in Greece."
And this from a Detroit news
article;
"The Pistons waived center Andreas Glyniadakis on Tuesday. It's not a shock because he wasn't in contention for the final roster spot. Glyniadakis, the 58th overall pick in 2003, made a good impression in camp. He is likely to return to Europe or his native Greece to play pro ball."
