Wild Card Predictions

What wild card prediction do you have for this season? For example, 'The Bobcats will get a 30 game season" or "The Knicks will be a decent team next season" or anything like that. it has to be something unlikely that could still happen.<--that's every Bobcats and Knicks fan after reading this.

Re: Wild Card Predictions

My wild predictions.

Darko makes the All-Star game.

Bernie Bickerstaff hires someone else to coach the Bobcats (he's also the GM).

Mike James gets a contract for more than $6 million per year.

Darko averages double digit blocks.

Mo Evans gets run out of the League for disobeying the new regulation banning knee high socks (which btw, are an NBA institution).

Baron Davis stays healthy for an entire season.

Darko goes on "DMC Vengeance '07" a tour of of opposing teams' arenas, seeking revenge on all of the rims who blocked him.

Re: Wild Card Predictions

1. Carlos Delfino is named DPOY.

2. Ron Artest is MVP of the Finals.

3. Detroit Pistons go undefeated in this years playoff run.

4. Shaq plays all 48 minutes in a playoff game, in any game, ok 42 minutes.

5. Jermaine O`Neal plays a full season without injury, ok 75 games.

6. Isiah Thomas is named NBA executive of the year.

Re: Wild Card Predictions

Lets see. For our own Pistons Alex Acker wins the 3rd guard spot. Amir Johnson is voted most improved after proving his worth to the Pistons.

Someone actually wants to trade for a couple of NY's bloated contracts.

Clipps win the West.

Toronto makes the playoffs.

Bird makes a move that actually helps the Pacers.

Grant Hill plays a full season.

Houston does not dissapoint their fans.

Ron Artest survives next season with no notable outbursts ( he really has changed )

PePe Sanchez makes a comeback.

Re: Wild Card Predictions

I forgot to mention my wild card predicitons, the ones I put at the beginning were just examlpes and there is absolutely NO chance of those two happening. Mine are the following:
  1. Steve Nash will actually learn to play defense for next season
  2. Chris Paul applies for a trade either next season or the one after
  3. The Timberwolves get a terrible trade for KG, just like the Lakers and Shaq
  4. Steve Francis will actually play better next season, that is, unless some lunatic team is interested in him (the Knicks still won't be a good team)
  5. Next year, all five Pistons Starters will be All-Stars

Okay, I will replace my lame predictions with the following:
  • Prince will be the leading scorer for the Pistons
  • Vilaneuva will win most improved player award
  • Bobcats win close to 40 games next year
  • Sprewell will return to the Knicks as a free agent
