Who Off'ed the Prof?

The Body of Professor, who masqueraded at times as the Dharma Chameleon, was found in an abandoned subway station in futuristic London. Police have revealed mulitple knife wounds on the victim and the presence of a rare species of rose. Also present at the crime scene was the letter S.

Justice must be swift and complete. Or negligent. as long as someone hangs for this most heinous atrocity...I'm good.

Re: Who Off'ed the Prof?

Well its about bloody time someone got murdered! Was the killer on vacation or something?

I'll have to do some investigating before I vote.

My 2 main suspects were Prof and Low. Now the prof is dead. But why would the Low kill the only other main suspect? That wouldn't make much sense.

If it was me, I'd have killed one of the quiet ones. Someone that had no votes against them, keeping the main suspects around as cover.

Hmm.... I'll have to think about this one for a while.

Re: Who Off'ed the Prof?

My thoughts exactly jammer. Hey, are we sure Prof is dead. Remember Agatha Christie's "The Mouse Trap (AKA ten little Indians)", where the killer only PRETENDS to be dead. It's the only other explanation for Prof being the victim, rather than a quiet person...unless it's Low & he just wants the game to end.

I'll do some sleuthing.

P.S. Aurora, you are gone but not forgotten!

WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO somebody was killed!!!!

I had thought that as well.

Since this is only the "test" version and we can't get everyone involved until this mystery is solved.

Hmmm....

Re: Who Off'ed the Prof?

I'VE GOT IT!!!

I'm 100% convinced that it was The Low.

I'll even show you the incriminating post (I've added the bold red for clarity). http://www.pistonsforum.com/detroit-...html#post46568

What care about is the fact that when you put Lindsey in the game, he makes opposing pgs wake up screaming in the middle of the night because he simply tortures them defensively which is much more valuable than his scoring because he creates turnovers and gets us transition opportunities while bringing their offense to a screeching halt.
It has "jumpers" in it - the same as in the Roscoe killing. It has the short form for the professor's name hidden in "professional". It fits the time line and he was one of my top 2 suspects from the beginning.

Take him away boys!

Good work Jammer. I suspected him the moment Roscoe was killed. I was just driving home thinking that when I got home I would look for Prof's name abbreviated and that it would be just like LOw to pull off the reverse play and kill the only suspect other than himself to cast doubt.

I'm going to double check the other suspects just to make sure, but I think we just may have him.

Someone get the noose!

Re: Who Off'ed the Prof?

hello? hello to earth? is this thing on?

i'm not sure where i am, but it's really hot and loud in here...the Heat!

anyway, not to impede the rush to judgment, but it would really help me get some closure if y'all would hang the right person... to wit: your arguments are full of assumptions...check those carefully and make sure they are warranted before you close off options. just to give one example: it's possible that the killer offed me not because i was the other suspect but because of my dangerous deductive powers!! or not...
