Discuss: Ironclad Evidence Warthog Isn't the Murderer at Detroit Pistons Fan Community - PistonsForum.com

Slippy, can we get a ruling on when the polls close? I definitely don't want to miss voting, but ...

P.S. Totally and completely off topic, but doesn't it seem like NFL Commissioner could have chosen a team that New Orleans could beat for the big post-Katrina home MNF opener? On the other hand I'm not complaining because Michael Vick is awfully easy on the eyes.

What team? You mean the Lions? Nobody wants to see them on Monday night. LOL

I hope he's easy on the stat sheet too. I need him to get me 14 points in my fantasy league!

My wife needs him to get a little over 13 points tonight to beat her opponent.

My team is history. I lost Alexander today to a broken foot. Yesterday, F. Gore stretched for a TD, ended up fumbling and hurt himself and left the game. Now my daughter is gonna beat me (when Bush scores 7 points tonight) after I told her she was nuts to bench E. Manning (3 td passes in 4th Qtr and L.Fitzgerald).

Ok, back to the hanging business.

Re: Ironclad Evidence Warthog Isn't the Murderer

I'm voted to hang Hack. The evidence is simple: there are a lot of generic basketball words in multiple posts. I think he may have posted more than his usual volume, maybe to cover his tracks.

I am embarrassed to say that the pairings of words that could be a murder post are less than compelling:

Team and ring
Coach and game
Coach and team
Team and game
Ring and team

There's alot more but you get the idea. All very generic words.

if I'm wrong. As Roscoe pointed out to all us investigators, the evidence hasn't served us very well in this game so far. If wrong again, someone else will die.

I went to the last Monday night game the Lions had at the Silverdome...St Louis kicked our butt 35-0...and the best entertainment the whole crowd had that night was the girl sitting right behind me that kept dropping her halter...LOL!

Re: Ironclad Evidence Warthog Isn't the Murderer

well, crap, i didn't even get to vote. i had to go to "capsule" night at the kids' high school (basically attending a mini-version of their whole day in two hours).

and i might have cast with my heart the tying vote -- launching Darth into another fit of coin-toss-provoked existential angst -- or else, i might have voted with the (increasingly suspicious) pair that always seems to vote together...

LOL Prof. Well, I guess I dodged another proverbial bullet.
As the late Roscoe once profoundly stated (can't remember if it was shortly before or shortly after his death ): "He...just...won't...die..."

I feel like the road runner with the Coyote always after me. Happily, the ACME anvil keeps landing on the coyotes. So far, anyhow.

I just don't know why you guys get this hankering to cook me every so often. I didn't do it. If I did there would be some evidence with all the scrutiny my posts get.. You can't possibly believe I'm using dissappearing ink. Maybe I just won't post over the next 3 days if we missed again (please tell me we got him)...but I doubt I can keep my mouth shut that long.

Kim and I vote alike (generally, not always) because we both base our decisions upon the evidence. It hasn't worked out so well (hopefully we got it right this time), but you don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

Maybe our technique was faulty...maybe there just isn't enough evidence, but we are doing our best.

Brag time . . . I went to the last Pistons game in the Silverdome: Game 5 of the 1988 Finals, Pistons 104, Lakers 94, Pistons up 3-2, on the verge of the first title, but it was not to be.

Sorry . . . back to being dead.
