I have no idea why I picked Knight's team to win. His teams have been losing first round games for quite a while now, and they were a 10 seed this time. Pretty dumb of me to pick them to pull off even a mild upset.

Don't be so hard on yourselves for picking some upsets that didn't come through. It takes guts to pick upsets and you need to pick some to win and it's pretty much all luck.

I got BOMBED my first tourney, but learned a lot from it and usually do quite well even though my knowledge of college hoops is sub-zero.

Usually, about 26 of 32 right is good enough to lead after the first round. It depends on how many upsets there are. So far everything is going according to plan. That means tomorrow we will see a ton of upsets!

Right now we are all bunched up. They usually update the standings every few hours, so we haven't received credit for every game yet.

Six winners and 2 losses so far for me as a couple of the first round upsets that I picked didn't materialize. Stanford and ODU not coming thru.

So far all of the higher seeds have held par. Time for tonight's 8 games to play out. Hopefully a few upsets there to get things interesting.

Sparties up 20-9 with 7+ minutes in the first half. But no way they get by NC.

Meanwhile in the NIT > Wolverines down as many as 21 on the Seminole home court as their season ends tonight and Tommy Turtleneck possibly coaches his last game in A2

My 11 year old daughter (blue monkey) is 8 for 8. I've only got 6 correct.

The worst thing is that last year she won the whole thing with about a dozen or so people.
