Great return for the NHL.

I don't think any team south of Mason-Dixon line should be able to win the Cup. That being said, I'm not even sure if North Carolina IS south of the Mason-Dixon line.

Does seem odd.

And yes it is. Along with Virginia and parts of Maryland.

Screw Carolina!

The only reason that is any better than Tampa Bay winning the Cup is because they used to be a cold weather team (Hartford Whalers).

And screw Ray Whintey too! Sorry excuse for a poor man's Luc Robataille, and just as streaky.

Aarron Ward, yeah, okay, good for him.

Rod Brind'Amour? Yeah, good for him too.

But I would have rather seen Edmonton win it. Then they could stop talking about Gretzky.

And the Wings have got the 2nd to last pick in the 1st round. Crappy draft spot again for the Red & White.

And the Hurricanes are in the "SouthEast Division"?!! What is this college football or something? Mississippi Valley State University wins the national championship! Wow! Yeah sure.

And another team from the weak Eastern conference beats a Western conference team that rode their goalie to the Finals.

I'm not bitter, but as a former Calgarian, I cannot in good conscience cheer for Edmonton.

Good job for the NHL too. It was important for the sport to continue to win in these "poor" markets. Carolina's fans were great during the playoff run.

I am a bitter, sad, little man.

And it's worse this year, because the Pistons tore a page out of the Red Wings book in the playoffs.

Yep. I am a bitter, sad little man.
