Wings Roster Update

REDWINGSCENTRAL.COM is a really nice site I visit for Wings prospect information. They really cover the bases on the young guys in the organization.

They have just updated the depth chart for the Wings with the payroll and contract lengths.

They have the projected 23 man roster.

The team is also looking to add one more forward.

Here is the Depth Chart.

Thanks to those guys over there for all of the nice info.

That's an awesome chart! Shows everything you would ever want to know. I learned a couple things just looking everything over once.

Re: Wings Roster Update

It look like they'll have their hands full next offseason.

Datsyuk
Lang
Maltby
Holmstrom
Schneider
Markov
Chelios
Hasek

All unrestricted.

Hudler
Bootland
Kopecky
Kronwall

All restricted.

I didn't realize they were smart enough to lock Lebda up for 4 years. Good move. That kid's got game.

I think for this year, I'd like to see them start the season where they're at, and look for whatever they need at the trade deadline, with $4mil to spend, they could make a couple of moves, and have their young guys evaluated in the mean time.
