Re: Superstarov's Fantasy Hockey

I found my problem.

You have to remove a player first before you can add a new one.

Once I placed the injured guy on the IR, it opened up a spot. Then, when I added the new guy, he showed up as on waivers with a note on my team site. Cool.

Maybe I'll get him.

Kronwall's not exactly a rookie Woody. The Wings are expecting BIG things out of him this season. It is actually his 3rd season. He is a top 4 D-man. He won the AHL's best defenseman during the lock-out. He was named MVP of the World Championships in 2005, when Sweden won the Gold. And also was a member of the Gold winning Swedish Olypmic team.

He's a punishing open ice hitter, and likes to jump into the offensinve flow too. A lot of people in the Wings organization are comparing him to Konstantinov... deceptive power for his size, and a knack for scoring. Plus Kronwall's got some really good speed.

Re: Superstarov's Fantasy Hockey

Lubomir Konstantinov. That would be an awesome name.

Re: Superstarov's Fantasy Hockey

I know Kronwall is supposed to be good. That's why I took him.

Now all he has to do is produce!!

I hope he is the next Red Kelly!!

Oh never mind. Something tells me we are keeping track of "faceoffs won".

Re: Superstarov's Fantasy Hockey

Hey Bezeach, what's it gonna take to pry Andrei Markov away from you?

And if you tell me Jagr or Hossa or someone like that, you're officially off my Christmas list.

Keep in mind that you picked him in the 8th round, one spot ahead of where I was about to take him!

Re: Superstarov's Fantasy Hockey

One more thing I forgot to mention to you guys:

Let's say your goalie plays in a game, and gives up 4 goals in the 1st period. Then he gets pulled.

Like it or not, that means that for that game your goalie has a 12.00 Goals Against Average (GGA).

Get it? If he played a full game, in the same manner he was playing in the minutes he actually did play, how would it have come ended up? Hence, GGA, goals per game average.

Now, as far as I know, even playing one period does count toward your 3 games required by your goalie.

Sucks huh?
