However this turns out, I've had a blast!!!

Can't wait for next year!!!
Two days left and I'm up 7-5 Woody, but I am fairly certain you are going to grab the title. I can't hold you off any longer although I tried my best!!!

If you tie it up, I think you'll win the tiebreaker because I believe the tiebreaker is based on goals scored. (I believe that's how Jammer was determined the winner in his series with Bezeach).

I'm going to need to be lucky to pull this one out but I see too many ways where you can beat me. If you win you most certainly have earned it. Man. I wanted this title in the worst way, but I am a rookie and the competition was FIERCE!!

You are so right. This has been a blast. Competitive to the end for many teams.

Hopefully, we've got Jammer, you, Bezeach Roscoe, Super, Redline?, and myself for next year. Ideally we can get one or three more teams who will really be interested in playing.

I know we are losing Linwood and Slippy..thanks for being good sports guys despite your lack of interest. Squirrels may or may not be interested, if invited back.

Re: Superstarov's Fantasy Hockey

Good season to everyone.

One of the more entertaining leagues I've been in.

I just wish I would've done better.

It's tough being in a league with a lot of other hometown fans. I went most of the season without a single Red Wing on my team.

Great league, Super. (and I only had one Red Wing - Lidstrom).

Roscoe did a good job recruiting teams and leading us astray.

Now, if we could outlaw rent-a-player during the playoffs......

But that's for next year.

THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!!!

It's technically called "streaming". You can do it during the playoffs because you don't really care if you release a guy and can't get him back.

You need to remember...it's all about numbers. The actual players don't matter and it's advantageous to keep your lineup full every day. I have absolutely no loyalty to a players name. He doesn't know or care if I dump him.

It can be a pain because it is time consuming though.

Man, I feel you about the rent-a-player Woody. It's exhausting!!

Perhaps a roster freeze at the trade deadline or having a playoff roster move cap for next season?

Re: Superstarov's Fantasy Hockey

Yes,Jammer.

A roster freeze at the beginning of the palyoffs, or a roster cap at 18 or 20 to cover any injuries that may occur during the playoffs, but limit the number of total roster spots available during the playoffs.

Otherwise, it was so much fun!!! (its not much fun when you have 5-6 regular guys playing and the other guy runs in 10 newbies for the day.)

Hey, I'm a first timer. This was my very first fantasy league of any kind.

Learned a lot from watching you experts pull all sorts of crap. Hoarding all the good goalies, only playing 3 defensemen because wingers can garner more points, getting centers that are listed at two postions so you can get more guys on the ice, etc.........

Just you wait until next year! I'm drafting the best three goalies I can with my first picks!!!

Re: Superstarov's Fantasy Hockey

Congrats on your big win Tater.

Woody, 2nd place is a great finish for your first every fantasy sports experience.

Micro, you put up a heck of a fight for 3rd place but don't worry, the best man won.

The rest of you, well, you just sucked.

Thanks again for the league Super!

Thanks Jammer. I really wanted to win this bad. I "worked" hard to get there, but I was very very fortunate to win.

I'm not lying when I say that the first thing I did this morning was check the results and make note that you need a banner.

But give me some time. I haven't even had a coffee yet.

Congrats to everyone. Especially Jammer. If Les Habitants can't make the playoffs, at least you did well in fantasy hockey.
