Roster Taking Shape

From the Detroit News:

"Those guys who are supposed to be knocking on the door, they better get knocking," Babcock said.

"Just do what you do and do it well, and do it hard.
"Show me."

Said general manager Ken Holland: "There are spots available to be earned."

I hope they hold on to Bootland. He's payed his dues in the organization, and having even 3 or 4 young guys isn't going to hurt this team. And it's nice to see that Hudler and Kopecky pretty much have their roster spots wrapped up.

I would not be thrilled to see Devereaux back.

It's strange, we lost Yzerman and Shanny, and I think that's it. How do we have 3 or 4 Forward spots open?
