Maybe with sale of the Lightning he is realizing that he is not getting any younger and ready to start dispersing his other holdings like the Pistons..

Now I watch the Idaho Steelheads a couple times a year. Same difference, but I am not attached to them anything like I was with the Vipers. They did win the ECHL championship this year.
