Yeesh! Well, I've still got a good shot to pull this out in the end. The goalie stats are very close, and only a couple of offensive categories are out of my range at this point.

Has anybody ever lost to Roscoe before? Was therapy helpful? Did your wives leave you?

Jammer, take a look at my roster and see if anyone interests you. I'm looking for help on the blueline or a combo player (not Sykora).

My team is getting healthy and rounding into form. I am 2 players away in my estimation from a run at the championship.

Darth, changing wives isn't going to help you. Just keep swapping players in and out. I'm waiting with the #1 waiver position to capitalize on someone's greedy mistake "tatering".

I think between 6 & 8 teams in our league have a legitimate shot at the title at this point, and the other teams can turn it around in no time. In a shallow league like ours, it's not difficult to improve. I thnk last year we had around four teams with a shot at being #1 in the regular season going into the last week.

I'm not too worried about where I end up as long as I make the playoffs (Obviously, however, the bye is always nice because it's one less week to have something go wrong in the playoffs against some bums like Woody or Jammer). I think the playoffs will be anyones game, with all due respect to the current leaders.

As far as the waiver position thing...that would be Mikhail you are waiting on.

This league is weird. I got blown out by a mediocre Bill-a-cheat team, crushed a good Laimbeer squad the following week, only to come back a day later to a large deficit against your boys. Maybe it's just my team that is Jekyll and Hyde, but I'm thinking we are all just evenly matched.

I am going to try not to drop anyone of importance any more.
Also, a lot of this is pure luck. I mean, when your rent-a-player gets 3+3 in one game it could turn a weak around. And, of course, reading and understanding the rules helps too.

Just because I blow all of my money on clothes and jewelry doesn't make me shallow.
