Jammer, Habs look good. Why is Plekanec still a FA?...

Yeah, they've been playing well of late. Nice to see them putting the puck in the net consistently. They're really a special teams team, they're excellent on the PP and PK, but they don't score too many even strength goals.

Because I'm not Darth Tater. I don't feel the need to carry 14 guys from my favourite team.

Look at his last acquisition. It's because he has realized the Lightning are better.

You're right. My last free agent signing brings my grand total of Tampa players to a whopping 1.

Yes, the Lightning are much better... than the injured D-man I released.

My team struggled a bit the first 3 weeks. Tampa played 6 games in 3 weeks.

Now, the play a whopping 6 games in 9 days. So you guys who played me early got lucky.

My best defenseman is probably back tomorrow after missing the entire seson with a freak hand injury(a skate fell off his locker and severed some tendons).

My goalies are doing well.

Look out for the Taters...

Some of my guys need to get going. I got Shanny and Modano doing practically nothing. And Joe Thornton has a relatively slow start.

Darth, I see that Brad Boyes was on your team for only about an hour. Did he fail the team physical as per conditions of your negotiated contract?

I think that was a move just to keep the Roster Move Title within reach. You're ahead 14-12 as we speak.

Either that or he's just in training for the playoffs, when he has to be in top physical and mental shape so that he doesn't pull something while making his 8 daily roster transactions.

Re: Official 2007/2008 PF.com Fantasy Hockey Talk Thread

I hope nobody notices my team has a minus 21 so far.

I can't believe my team is playing like this. I thought I'd kick butt with my guys finally getting some games in...but NOOOOOOO.

I suppose I should get off my butt and do something since I'm the commissioner. Maybe a blurb on each team or the matchups or something.

OK,

How about:

Bezeach: Same as last year. Kicking butt out of the gate. Fantastic numbers. He'll disappear around the playoffs...like always.

Jammer's team: It sucks

Roscoe's team: It sucks too

How was that.

Next time I'll do an in depth analysis on Mikhail's team and Bill Laimbeer's team.

Hey...What the hell happened to Woody? Oh well, I may as well do his teams analysis while I'm at it or he will whine..It sucks as bad as the others.

Ok, now don't say I do nothing as commissioner. At least I started the season on time (Don't tell Linwood I said that).

My team doesn't suck, it just needs some work. It will get better in January.

Speaking of SUCK, what is that sound coming out of Tater Bay? Sounds like a high pitched whine.
