And Rob Blake (LA - D) is also someone the Wings might be looking at.

I wouldn't mind Blake if he is cheap, or Sundin, if the deal is structured like the Bertuzzi deal last year, where we don't give up much if he doesn't perform or re-sign with us.
There was something in the Free Press or News recently where it said that first of all Sundin doesn't want to leave since it doesn't guarantee the Cup. He said that only Bourke has managed to win it with Colorado, the others, like Wendel Clark, never got that close and later on they regretted leaving the team that they spent their careers with. Also, Toronto is likely to want more for Sundin than Wings are willing to give up, whereas Blake may come in a lot cheaper. We'll have to wait and see.

Wings hold all the cards. The cup is that close.

With a recent lack of success in the playoffs, compared to the regular season, the closest they'll be to a cup is.............oh never mind.......
