Ok maybe it's the Lions or maybe I'm superstitious BUT this guys last name starts with M.I don't trust the M&M thing we've had goin on here.

Hopefully we find a diamond in the cart of coal like some other teams have done with hiring "unproven" assistants who have never head coached.

For the love of God, Millen is a complete retard. Has this loser done anything right as a GM?????

I don't know much about Marinelli, maybe he'll end up being a great coach, but it sounds like the way he went about it was all wrong yet again. Keeping all of the other candidates out of the loop, etc.

Just what a team of young, highly talented, undermotivated, prima donna atheletes need. A rookie coach.

obviously this franchise still does not give two squats about winning.

The odds of our next coach having a name that starts with a M was 1/1.
13th letter in the alphabeta. I should have changed my name. I hope he can get some good assistants. If he can't go 8 and 8 in his first year, cut 'em.

Well, on the bright side, at least it wasn't a quick hire. Millen did 12 interviews before reaching a decision.

Very true, I guess he is improving. Only 5 more coaches to hire and fire and he should have the process down cold!

The more I hear about Marinelli, the more I like him. It doesn't bother me that he hasn't been a head coach before. He sounds like a straight shooter (not a BSer), who runs a tight ship, knows how to treat his players and knows that games are won and lost in the trenches and with good, hard, tough, physical play on both sides of the ball.

Then we need to get deeper in the trenches. Especially the Oline since it's barely functional.
