Twins one time center fielder Kirby Puckett is reported to have had a stroke at his Arizona home today and was taken to a Scottsdale hospital for surgery.

Puckett, led Minnesota to a couple titles back in 1987 and 1991.

He's a good man who played the game with skill, passion, and joy. There's some new immediate treatment for stroke. Hope he got it.

Guys I am 5'7" and 198 lbs altho I have a 34" waist and I bench 290 lbs, I always related to Kirby ...I wasnt eveen 'that' mad when we lost to them in 87 cuz of Kirby!
